Keto Snacks – What Can I EAT??
My Top 3 Snacks for Ketogenic Diet
It can pretty difficult to wrap your head around the snacks you are allowed to have on the keto diet. You just aren’t used to the idea of snacking so different – you are used to chips and cookies and sodas. So, that time is over! Now you need to stock up on some snacks you can actually eat. Our site showcases a lot of great snacks, but I thought I’d give you a quick list of what I regularly munch on – maybe it will help you out.
Pork Skins – Listen, some people just plain don’t want to even try a pork skin. All I can say is that they are missing out. Pork skins are delicious, salty and crunchy. They satisfy that need for a chip, and they can be dipped in various high-fat dips (or hot sauce!) to fill you up. I like these Utz barrels. Buy three, take one to work. Leave two at home. POW! You are snack ready at all times.
Quest Bars – Man, I thought having sweets was a thing of the past. Things like Cookie Dough, Cookies and Cream and Cinnamon Rolls were never going to visit my tummy again. WRONG! Check these Quest Bars out. They come in tons of flavors, actually taste good, and make a filling Keto Friendly snack.
Annie Chun’s Seaweed Snacks, Wasabi – No doubt one of my favorites for flavor. They won’t fill you up, but they satisfy a need to eat something spicy or different. Let’s face it, you are going to be eating a lot of chicken, steak, pork and salad, and not a lot of anything else. Break up the monotony with these. I love them.
Now, my next bit of advice is the best you will get. When you find a good snack, STOCK UP. Seriously. You will be tearing through this stuff, and it’s a hassle to run to the grocery store at lunch on a Tuesday. Go ahead and buy in quantity so you can have things handy all the time. Remember, the key to victory is not to set yourself up for failure. If you have food you can eat at hand, you are less likely to hit the vending machine.
